Welcome to COFY, a registered nonprofit organization based in the state of New Jersey. Our mission is to provide educational and life skills support to youth with developmental delays and their families, enabling them to transition successfully into college, careers, and independent living. We strive to identify and intervene with research-based methods, providing a high standard of care and support through our different programs.

We offer

At COFY, we offer a wide range of programs and activities that cater to the needs of our members. Our services include individual support services, socio-cultural, health, and community outreach, vocational training, college prep, mentoring, and professional development for educators. We also provide employment opportunities, including jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities, as well as short- and long-term mission projects.

Our educational webinars for teachers, parents, and caregivers are conducted quarterly, providing valuable resources and knowledge to support the development of youth with disabilities. In April, we celebrate Autism Awareness Month, raising awareness of the condition and supporting individuals and families affected by it. During the summer, we hold an Educational Outreach week to provide hands-on learning opportunities for our members.

We offer individual support services to youth with disabilities as needed, working with each individual to create a personalized treatment plan based on their strengths and needs. All our events and services are currently offered free of charge to recipients, and we rely on the support of volunteers and supporters to continue our work.

COFY membership is open to well-meaning educational professionals, children and youth with developmental disabilities and educational needs who receive services from the organization and their caregivers, and volunteers and supporters of our aims and objectives.

Our activities take place at different venues, depending on the needs of our members, including online, at homes, churches, public libraries, and parks.

We also offer opportunities for international outreach, supporting education outreaches and providing scholarships for students in need.
